L’investigador de l’Institut de Neurociències de la Universitat de Barcelona (UB) Mel Slater coordinarà l’European Metaverse Research Network (EMRN), la primera xarxa de recerca a Europa especialitzada en el metavers. Aquesta nova entitat està conformada per vuit centres d’investigació provinents de set països i estudiarà els beneficis, riscos i desafiaments potencials dels mons virtuals.
“The researcher from the Institute of Neurosciences of the University of Barcelona (UB) Mel Slater will coordinate the European Metaverse Research Network (EMRN), the first research network in Europe specialized in the metaverse. This new entity is made up of eight research centers from seven countries and will study the benefits, risks and potential challenges of virtual worlds.”
